Incestuous Folgers Coffee Holiday Commercial From 2009

Whoa! Good thing Mom & Dad interrupted at the end…

Read this funny article about “How to talk to your family about that Folgers incest commercial.”

I am jut not sure why this didn’t appear on ‘The Greatest Holiday Commercials of All Time.’

Watch the commercial.

Queencest: Forbidden Fruit in TV’s “Arrow”

What’s up with writers writing siblings like a couple on the CW?

Arrow is one of the reasons I started an incestuous blog a year or two ago. In season one of Arrow, Oliver & Thea had WAY too much sexual chemistry to be related. They seemed to have toned it down in season two though, much to my dismay and other queencest shippers.

Although there is a big age gap between Oliver and Thea, she seems wise beyond her years. Probably because she has had to grow up quickly after dealing with the death of their father and then thinking she had lost her brother. In the first season she tries to cover up her emotions by turning to drugs, even though she seemed like a strong person. Oliver is kind of like a father to Thea, because he is constantly trying to protect her. He even hides his identity from her, a lie that is constantly tearing Oliver apart, but time will tell if it pushed Thea away too. Keeping a secret like that from the person you love most in the world can’t be easy.

Feeling dirty? Here Are More “Soaps” to Clean You Up.

A few days ago I did a post on British soaps Brookside and Hollyoaks that contained brothers and sisters in incestuous relationships. Now I bring to your attention “cousins” who locked lips last year in Port Charles and some other soaps that contained incestuous pairings.

Guiding Light did the kissing cousins couple first in 2004 with Tammy and Jonathan known as “Jammy.” Surprisingly they became a major couple on the show and a fan favorite!

Incest Storylines in UK Soaps “Brookside” and “Hollyoaks”

Brookside: In 1996, the long running series “Brookside” caused an uproar when it featured a storyline of a consensual incestuous sexual relationship between two sibling characters. Brother and sister Nat and Georgia Simpson were fully aware that they were related, but they still couldn’t resist getting it on with each other in what many saw as the storyline that initiated Brookside’s decline.

Father-Daughter Interactions Worth Seeing Transformers: Age of Extinction For

In one of the best scenes from “Transformers: Age of Extinction,” the over protective father Cade (Mark Wahlberg) thinks his daughter’s Tessa (Nicola Peltz) shorts are a little too short .

Cade Yeager: “This is a non-dating house. You don’t date, I don’t date!”
Tessa Yeager:  “Maybe you should.

Mother & Son Stepcest in “Tadpole”

Low budget coming-of-age story about a 15-year-old boy, Oscar, who falls in love with his stepmother, Eve.

Sigourney Weaver is hot for her son again in Tadpole. Beautiful, sophisticated women are all over Oscar Grubman. He is sensitive and compassionate, speaks French fluently, is passionate about Voltaire, and thinks the feature that tells the most about a woman is her hands. On the train home from Chauncey Academy for the Thanksgiving weekend, Oscar confides in his best friend that he has plans for this vacation—he will win the heart of his true love. But there is one major problem—Oscar’s true love is his stepmother Eve. Oscar is certain that he could be a better mate to Eve than his work-obsessed father. He fails to win Eve’s heart and is consequently dejected. Oscar’s path to his true love is further crossed by Diane, Eve’s best friend who, one night while wearing Eve’s borrowed perfumed scarf, offers him temporary comfort in an unconventional tryst. For Diane, Oscar fills a void in her life. For Oscar, Diane is somewhat of a distraction, as his continued pursuit of Eve leads to an unexpected resolution. (IMDB)

This isn’t the first time Sigourney Weaver has had serious chemistry with her son, I also would recommend “Imaginary Heroes,” which also features canon incest.

Brotherly incestuous subtext & mother/son abuse in “Captivity”

Just when you think you are going to watch just another scary horror movie…yep, more incest. And in more than one way.

A man and a woman awaken to find themselves captured in a cellar. As their kidnapper drives them psychologically mad, the truth about their horrific abduction is revealed.(IMDB)

Back again to bring us more “hot melting incest” is Elisha Cuthbert, who starred in one of the most incestuous heavy subtexts movies ever, House Of Wax.

If you like horror movies (like I do) and twists, I think you will really enjoy this film. Plus it features two pretty awesome Canadians – Daniel Gillies (The Originals) and Elisha Cuthbert (House of WaxThe Quiet). What is it about Elisha Cuthbert always getting stalked by brothers in twisted horror movies?

Most of the reviews I read about this film said it was ripping off Saw or trying to be like a torture porn. I don’t agree. I enjoyed the whole movie and thought it was more of a twist on those franchises than anything. It is nowhere near as gory and torturous as Saw or Hostel. I don’t care for useless gore or just killing for the sake of it, and didn’t find this that gory at all. The camera usually fades out when anything to graphic comes up, which is only a few times. It does rely on a few cheap tricks, and included some unnecessary stuff in the beginning, but it makes up for it in the end. You won’t see it coming (unless you read the rest of this review, but I urge you not unless you watch the movie first because spoiler alert!)  I thought it was one of the few actually intelligent horror movies, if you look at it a bit closer.

That awkward time you watched “Game of Thrones” with your parents.

This new HBO Go campaign suggests maybe Game of ThronesGirls, or True Detective aren’t ideal for quality family time. No one should have to hear about Nana and Grampa Joe or the temptations of Memphis during their favorite TV show. This is where the wonders of technology come in very handy. Unless of course it crashes, then you’re stuck watching twincest with Mom and Dad.

What a great ad! Plus on top of all that other awkwardness it is a brother and sister watching it!

Where “Klebekah” Began…

The Vampire Diaries (S03E03, The End of the Affair) is an all around great episode, but especially for Klebekah (Klaus and Rebekah). Watch this episode where Rebekah is introduced and tell me there is not loads and loads of subtext. Click here to read my article on “Klebekah.”
