The screenplay for This Is Where I Leave You has been adapted by novelist Jonathan Tropper from his eponymous, critically acclaimed novel. Judd Foxman (Jason Bateman) is truly out of luck lately. He is heading towards divorce, out of work, and living in a basement apartment. As if that wasn’t enough, the demise of his father forces him right into the epicenter of his dysfunctional family. The late pater familias’ final request was that his closest relatives spend seven days in mourning together. Stuck in one house for a week, the situation quickly spirals out of control…
